Poster design can be a challenging and rewarding undertaking. Creating a powerful, thought-provoking poster requires generating ideas, exploring methods, and understanding creative approaches to design.
This March, a workshop will be held in the country of Iran that explores these concepts. The 3 day workshop is being taught at the Chamran martyr of Ahwaz University under the supervision of Behnam Raeesian. The workshop focuses on ideas and creativity in poster design.

Baking Poster with Behnam Raeesian Poster workshops are a great way to gain valuable information from designers explaining their individual process and inspiration when creating their work. Today we focus on an upcoming poster workshop organized by poster designer and curator Behnam Raeesian happening at Neyshabour Art University in Iran.
The Associate Professor of Cultural and Social affairs, Faculty of Art, and the Neyshabour Workshop, proudly present a special design workshop entitled Future Formation – Social Communication by Behnam Raeesian. In this two-day workshop, Raeesian shows the correct process of poster design and implementation based on the techniques of the day. It is worth noting that a maximum of 15 applicants from the students of the Faculty of Art of Neyshabour will be selected to attend this workshop. This is a great opportunity for students at the University to expand their creativity and approach to poster design.

Last week there was a wonderful social poster workshop with iconic Luba Lukova in Guadalajara, México. The event was organised by the poster competition Escucha Mi Voz in collaboration with the Consulate of the United States of América in Guadalajara & Instituto de Cultura de Zapopan. During the workshop the students created posters on the topic of family violence, which is the theme of this years competition.You can see more pictures and find out all the info about this workshop and the Escucha mi Voz competition on their Facebook page.
One Month ago the poster workshop from Polish designers from SYFONSTUDIO and Jan Bajtlik was held in Kharkiv. The workshop was organised by the 4th Block and the title was “Message from Kharkiv”. The main idea of the workshop was to create posters (on political, social or a cultural theme) by all the participants. In the future all posters will exhibited in Poland, but in the meantime check out the images from the workshop and let us know what you think!

Poster for tomorrow is stating its series of Design for Human Rights workshops on May 5th, 2014 with a workshop led by Alain Le Quernec and Hervé Matine in Morocco.
All year along Poster for Tomorrow, with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be organising week long programs in 10 developing and emerging countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
