Anti-Nuke Movement Posters

Anti-Nuke Movement Posters
Even though nuclear weapons are still a very concerning problem (there are over 15,000 weapons around the world now) it’s not a cause that gets as much attention as it once did. This is why Global Zero, a nonprofit pushing to eliminate all nuclear weapons, partnered with the Creative Action Network to create a new campaign enlisting designers and artists to re-brand the movement.
The Creative Action Network, a global community of artists and designers, is crowdsourcing ideas for new imagery, printing it on T-shirts and posters, and then splitting the proceeds between the artists and Global Zero. Though there are a few references to the past, almost all have a very modern aesthetic.
The posters are aimed mainly at the younger audiences, who see this as a problem of the past and are often not aware of its current repercussions. The posters seek to change this perspective. As the executive director of Global Zero explains: “At the end of the day, that’s what we’re really working to achieve. Of course, we’re traying to eradicate the weapons, but ultimately we’re challenging the idea that security can be based on threats of mass destruction”.

Posters reveal the different ways designers think about money

Posters reveal the different ways designers think about money
The Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity issued a challenge offering designers 50 pounds for their creative use in raising the most money for charity. London-based studio SocioDesign responded to this challenge by asking 50 designers worldwide to design a poster visualizing their ideas about money.
Demonstrating how a single topic can produce numerous eye-opening interpretations, the poster series, which will be auctioned offline, reveals the starkly different ways designers think about money, represented through a variety of artistic techniques that include photography, graphic design and typography.

Buttock cleavage Posters

Buttock cleavage Posters
These humorist posters designed by FCB Chicago were created as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of preventing colon cancer. Placed strategically on the back of bus seats the posters show the lower back of people who seem to be sitting in the seat. The posters include the phrase “nobody wants to see this more than your doctor“, and a brief text explaining that colon cancer is the deadliest of the cancers that affect humans, but when detected early there are ample opportunities to minimize the damage.

Support the International Poster Biennial in Mexico Indiegogo campaign

Support the International Poster Biennial in Mexico Indiegogo campaign
The (IPBM) custodies a space where the confluence of educational, cultural and information exchange in Mexico is obtained from the collective network that promotes culture and education as propellers of progress. The IPBM has transformed other biennials in the world, has awarded image and presence of Mexico abroad and initiated youth in design education as a transforming environment.
After 25 years of being a custodian of the culture of design, the International Poster Biennial in Mexico (IPBM) is at a special moment: the celebration of their anniversary. The celebration program is so substantial that it has lead the IPBM to request your support. The IPBM is persuasive to the causes in which it believes, one of which is the preservation of memory in physical matter, so the ideal article consistent with the celebration of 25 years is summarized in the publication of a commemorative issue.
The IPBM invites designers to support this mexican civil society to cover the public funds necessary to achieve the printing of a book that will be the witness of a space where the invaluable visual legacy is generated.
If you want to support the IPBM visit their Indegogo campaign and select a perk.
